[:it]Vi voglio presentare qui un lavoro fatto insieme alla mia amica e collega Francesca (www.francescagaragnani.it). Molti dei lavori che vi presenterò sono fatti in collaborazione con lei, quindi tornerà spesso tra le pagine di questo blog!

Ormai un anno fa ci è stato proposto di pensare a dei giocattoli in legno per bambini. Ovviamente l’idea ci ha subito affascinato, quindi dopo qualche ricerca sulla concorrenza, e diverse idee che ci affollavano la testa abbiamo sviluppato i disegni che hanno portato alla realizzazione del prototipo di Campione: il bassotto che ha stoffa!

Vi presento qui diverse immagini che abbiamo consegnato, e provo a raccontarvi un po’ il pensiero che ci sta dietro.

Siamo partite dall’idea di un giocatore che potesse aiutare i bambini nella prima parte dell’infanzia, quando iniziano a muovere i primi passi, diventando poi un fedele compagno di giochi.

Campione è quindi studiato per essere un gioco mobile, dotato di ruote, dove il bambino a cavalcioni riesce a spingersi e girare.

Altro punto per noi fondamentale è stata la scelta dei materiali. Abbiamo deciso di utilizzare solo materiali naturali, e di dare un valore aggiunto al gioco inserendo diverse esperienze tattili. Le diverse superfici che abbiamo scelto permettono di esplorare diverse sensazioni. Dal tessuto morbido di orecchie e coda, al ruvido naso di feltro, e così via.

Abbiamo infine studiato un packaging, anch’esso pensato con materiali naturali come il cartone riciclato, dove grazie ad una sagomatura, trovano alloggio i vari pezzi da montare. Risulta inoltre facilmente impilabile e con uno spazio minimo di ingombro.

Almost a year ago we were asked to imagine some wood toys for kids. Clearly the idea intrigued us immediately. So after some research about the competitors, and different ideas that fill our heads, we have developed the draw that have brought to realize the prototype of Champion.

I show here some different images that we have delivered, and I try to tell you the thought there is behind the project.

We started from an idea of a toy that would help the children in the early childhood, when they begin to take the first steps, becoming later a loyal playmate.

Champion is studied to be a movable toy, with wheels, where the child with legs astride is able to push himself.

Another fundamental point for us was the material. We have decided to use only natural materials, and to give an added value to the toy by including different tactile experiences. The different surfaces we have chosen allow they to explore different sensations. From the soft cloth of hears and tail, to the rough nose of felt, and so on.

We have studied in the end the packaging, likewise thought in natural materials like recycled cardboard, where thanks to the shape cutting, the different pieces to assemble find space. It’s also easy to stack and with a minimal amount of space.
